Health Clinic

The WASUA Health Clinic has been running since 2000. We are currently looking at ways to improve the running and maintenance of the clinic. It is currently managed and run by our Clinical Nurse Consultant, who has over 10 years nursing experience and specialises in the field of drugs and alcohol.

The intention of the clinic is to provide a confidential and non-judgmental place where users in the community can come to for health checks and information. The clinic provides Blood Borne Virus (BBV) and Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) checks for the community as well as education, treatment referral and counselling on issues that may arise for our clients.

We currently provide:

  • Hepatitis A and B vaccinations
  • The new Gardasil Vaccine against certain types of cervical cancer

The clinic runs from 10-4 Tuesday and Thursdays, with outreach clinics at other agencies on Wednesdays.

NO APPOINTMENT OR MEDICARE CARD IS NECESSARY.
